What you need is:

  • plantain/ platano (it looks and smells like banana, but it’s bigger and raw)
  • sweetened condensed milk
  • meises
  • spring roll skin (kulit martabak/lumpia)
  • sliced cheese

Instructions:

  • sliced the plantain nicely
  • put the spring roll skin on the plate, add 5 or more slices of plantain
  • pour a little bit sweetened condensed milk
  • sprinkled with meises, don’t put it too much because the milk already sweet
  • cover it with slice cheese (I divided 3 parts of each slices, so it’s more evenly)
  • then roll it up
  • fry it on hot oil

 *I always use whei chuan because it’s nicely thin for crispier rolls.
